Title: Project Engineer

Project Engineer - UAE Based

Prequalification of Construction and Third party inspection contractors.

Review of design for Reliability, Operability and Maintainability (ROM).

Tender preparation and Bid evaluation through to placement of Order and Execution of Contracts.

Development of Project Execution plans and strategies.

Vendor Documentation review and coordination of technical input from Specialist.

Monitoring of project progress and implementation of project recovery plans if required.

Supervision of third party inspection activities.

Supervision of vendor/contractor, site installation and commissioning activities.

Cost Control, monitoring of budgets and variation orders.

Supervision of weld test activities, instrumentation calibration, factory acceptance tests, loop testing, rotating equipment string tests etc.

Liaison with site Operations and Maintenance, third party authorities, contractors and equipment suppliers on all project related activities.

Responsible for ensuring Engineering, Procurement and Commissioning are carried out as per appropriate Codes and Standards.

Responsible for ensuring successful integration of new and upgraded equipment into the existing plant and equipment.

Closure of final documentation.

Ensuring compliance to safety and environmental standards.
