Title: 2nd OfficerWe are currently looking for 2nd Officers for a 5 month contract in Norway working a 2&4 rota. Definition The role of the 2nd Officer is to assist in the safe and efficient operation of the deck department and of the vessel, and to be an understudy to the Chief Officer. Duties During his watch he is in charge of all work carried out by the deck department under the Permit to Work System and may be required to act as permit co-ordinator. His duties in emergency situations are laid down in the vessel''''''''s Emergency Response Manual and/or stated on the Muster List. He is to carry out any lawful command as requested by Shipboard Management. Training UKOOA / Norwegian Medical ENG1 Medical Certificate of Competency - Master or Chief Mate (Limited) or OOW (Unlimited) Offshore Survival (Norwegian Desirable) Offshore Coxswain If you are interested in the above and you have all of the required training please send your resume to jennifer.roy@petrofac.com
