Title: 1st Engineer
We are currently looking for a 1st Engineer for a 3 Week on 3 Week off rota in the North Sea.
Role and responsibilities includ but are not limited to:
- Supervise the daily operations and maintenance of all machinery including the ballast system, plant and firefighting equipment onboard.
- Execution of the planned maintenance, superivison of repairs and advising Chief Engineer on ordereing spares and consumables.
- Responsible for the planning and organisation of the Engine Room Crew.
- Direct and indirect supervisory authority over the Engine Room Crew
- Supervisory authority over all other personnel working within the Engine Department.
Qualifications
Certificate of Competency - Chief Engineer (Limited) or 2nd Engineer (Unlimited)
OPITO Approved Offshore Survival
UKOOA Medical
Offshore Coxswain (desirable)
Fire Team Member (desirable)
